Description

Suspended Ground is a layered abstract composition that explores balance through restraint rather than symmetry. A pale central form is held in place by surrounding strata of colour and texture, creating a sense of elevation and pause. The composition feels neither rising nor settling, instead occupying a deliberate state of suspension.

Soft neutrals dominate the surface, allowing muted blues, warm ochres, and subtle reds to emerge gradually rather than assert themselves. Fine fissures and overlapping planes introduce depth without agitation, giving the work a geological quality that feels accumulated rather than constructed.

A slender vertical accent on the right provides quiet orientation, anchoring the composition without directing it.
