Description

The surface is constructed through layered panels and compressed planes, carrying clear evidence of pressure, handling, and revision. Creases, scored lines, and subtle tearing remain visible, giving the work a materially honest presence. Nothing is smoothed or disguised; the surface retains its scars and interruptions as part of its structure.

A small circular anchor holds the composition in place, acting as a point of tension rather than a focal flourish. From it, fine linear marks radiate outward, restrained and deliberate, suggesting stress, measurement, and containment rather than release. These lines interact with vertical drips and fractured edges, creating a quiet but persistent sense of instability.

Muted greys, chalked whites, and soft industrial tones dominate the field, reinforcing the work’s austere character. Darkened fragments along the lower plane hint at a fragile skyline or residual structure, barely held together. The composition balances order and erosion, presenting space as something assembled, worn, and quietly under strain.
