Description

Measured Stillness is a restrained geometric abstraction built around balance, proportion, and quiet tension. A dominant pale circular form anchors the composition, intersected by vertical and horizontal divisions that introduce structure without rigidity. The geometry feels deliberate and calibrated, allowing space and form to coexist without hierarchy.

Muted greys, soft stone tones, and subtle dark accents work together to create a contemplative surface. Fine linear markings and surface irregularities add depth while maintaining compositional clarity. Smaller circular elements act as counterweights, reinforcing equilibrium rather than ornamentation.

This work is concerned with composure rather than movement — a study of how stillness can be constructed, measured, and sustained through form.
