Description

This panoramic work is constructed through layered panels, overlapping planes, and dimensional circular forms that project forward from a restrained architectural ground. The surface is built rather than brushed — sheets appear stacked, offset, and partially exposed, allowing the structure of the composition to remain visible.

On the left, a recessed spiral form reads as pressed metal or carved relief, its concentric ridges moving inward with quiet intensity. On the right, a radial disc with a brushed metallic centre feels engineered and deliberate, its textured outer ring contrasting with the smooth circular core. Both elements carry weight, yet neither dominates.

A strong horizontal band runs across the width of the piece, anchoring the composition and stabilising the layered background. Behind it, translucent panels and muted marbled textures in grey, cream, and taupe create depth without clutter. Small splatters and fine linear accents introduce controlled disruption, preventing the work from becoming overly pristine.

The palette remains restrained — silvers, soft neutrals, and subtle gold — allowing material contrast to carry the authority. Matte surfaces sit against metallic finishes. Smooth planes interrupt textured relief. The tension is quiet but deliberate.

This piece does not rely on spectacle. Its strength lies in proportion, balance, and spatial command. It reads as a constructed wall installation rather than a flat image — dimensional, measured, and composed across its full horizontal span.

It holds equilibrium through structure, not softness.
