Multiple faces emerge across the composition, partially formed and unevenly distributed within a rigid but fractured structure. They do not confront one another directly; instead, they appear suspended in proximity, separated by planes of colour and interrupted by thin, restless lines. These lines act as fractures rather than connectors, cutting across faces and spaces without offering resolution.

The palette is restrained and controlled. Muted blues, off-whites, greys, and ochres dominate, punctuated by small, deliberate accents of darker tone. Colour is used structurally rather than emotionally, reinforcing separation and balance while allowing tension to remain present. No single figure dominates the composition; each exists in partial isolation within the larger framework.

The geometry suggests order, but it is an order that feels strained. Blocks and divisions hold the figures in place while the surface resists cohesion through cracks, scars, and uneven textures. The faces are neither expressive nor decorative; they appear held in suspension, defined as much by what separates them as by what reveals them.

The process is fully visible throughout. Every scrape, fracture, and interruption reads as a record of decision rather than refinement. Nothing is softened or resolved. The work occupies a space between presence and absence, communication and silence, holding tension without offering closure.
