Description

A stylised figure is formed from sharply defined planes and layered colour blocks, its surface built through scraping, fracture, and visible correction. Pale, chalked flesh tones are set against dense black arcs and saturated fields of yellow and red, creating a composition that feels both compressed and deliberate. 

The curves that surround the figure do not frame it gently; they press inward, holding the form in a state of poised containment. Abraded edges, hairline cracks, and uneven textures remain exposed, allowing the process to sit plainly on the surface. 

The balance between graphic clarity and material wear gives the work its tension—controlled, assertive, and unresolved in a way that feels intentional rather than incomplete.
