Description

Crossed Velocity explores the tension between directional movement and imposed structure. Diagonal forms cut sharply across a rigid grid, creating a sense of momentum that feels contained rather than chaotic. Bold passages of blue anchor the composition, while bursts of red, yellow, and white introduce moments of acceleration and interruption. The surface bears visible marks, splatter, and scoring, reinforcing the idea of motion passing through resistance rather than dissolving into it.

The work balances energy with control, allowing opposing forces to coexist without collapse. Movement is present, but it is measured — redirected, crossed, and held in place.
