Compressed Horizon – Fine Art Print

Description

A profile is forced into close proximity with a dense field of layered material, its form emerging through compression rather than expansion. A dark blue core sits at the centre like a held void, surrounded by scraped planes of red, slate grey, black, and worn metallic gold. 

The surface is visibly battered—edges lifted, layers pressed back, and colour interrupted—so that the image reads as something constructed under pressure. Gold-toned areas appear fractured and scuffed, integrated into the structure rather than applied for emphasis. 

The geometry does not open outward; it tightens, holding the figure against the weight of the surrounding field. The result is a composition defined by restraint, accumulation, and controlled force.
