The background reads like a damaged wall or tiled façade — repaired, reinforced, but never fully smoothed over.

A wire-drawn face emerges from this structure, its contours pulled taut across the surface. The line work is precise but tense, tracing eyes, nose, and mouth with a deliberate economy that refuses excess. Nothing here is ornamental; every curve feels functional, as if holding the image together.
