Description

Load Path Crossing is a contemporary abstract composition built around the idea of intersecting forces held in balance. Bold rectilinear forms in red act as structural crossings, cutting through layered fields of teal, charcoal, and deep blue. At the centre, a saturated yellow plane functions as a load-bearing core, anchoring the composition while absorbing visual pressure from all sides.

Textured surfaces and restrained splatter marks introduce material depth without softening the work’s architectural intent. Fine, wire-like arcs curve across the composition, suggesting movement, tension, and the redirection of force rather than decorative gesture.

 These elements guide the eye through the work, reinforcing the sense of controlled energy passing through a fixed framework.

The composition operates through contrast and containment — rigid geometry offset by subtle motion, weight countered by flow. Rather than resolving into symmetry, the work maintains equilibrium through opposition, allowing structure and instability to coexist within a unified visual system.
